Leading telecoms and digital services provider PLDT’s wholly owned subsidiary PLDT Global Corporation (PGC) joined overseas Filipinos as they celebrated their heritage in time for the 121st Independence Day of the Philippines.

As part of a broader program to help Filipinos worldwide keep connected to their roots, PGC ran a special Independence Day project and provided food, activities, games and entertainment to Filipino communities celebrating the day, in different parts of the world.
PLDT Global has also partnered with Philippine consulates, labor agencies, and local organizations to boost various Independence Day events and festivities in England, Italy, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Japan, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and the United States.

“We are excited to be part of the international celebrations of our kababayans who are living and working overseas for Independence Day.
