Serving overseas Filipinos while bringing global technology leaders together has long been central to PLDT Global’s role in the digital ecosystem, shaping how the company builds platforms, convenes partners, and delivers services that connect people, businesses, and communities across borders. This purpose‑driven approach was recognized at the Asia‑Pacific Stevie® Awards, where PLDT Global, PLDT’s international unit, earned multiple honors for initiatives that combine innovation, engagement, and leadership.
The company’s top recognition was a Gold Stevie® Award for TinBo (Tindahan ni Bossing), a one‑stop digital marketplace powered by PLDT Global and developed for overseas Filipinos. The platform enables Filipinos abroad to access digital goods and services for their families in the Philippines, responding to practical, everyday needs while helping them remain closely connected to home. Beyond commerce, TinBo enables digital identity through the Smart Virtual Number (SVN), a cloud-based Philippine mobile number that serves as a digital passport for access to communications, authentication, and financial services.

PLDT Global bagged 4 awards for business excellence and innovation across multiple categories at the 2026 Asia‑Pacific Stevie Awards.
TinBo serves over half a million Filipinos in the Middle East, North America, Europe, and Asia, growing 430% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in commerce and payment transactions over the past three years, and showing demand for a more intentional cross-border model.
PLDT Global’s ACC 2025 was recognized for Bronze for fostering dialogue and collaboration among global telecommunications, technology, and enterprise leaders, positioning the event as a platform for partnerships that extend beyond traditional connectivity. The company also bagged Bronze Stevie® Awards for initiatives focused on strengthening engagement with overseas Filipino communities and industry partners. Its Hong Kong Fest 2025 — a weeklong Philippine Independence Day event — was cited for its role in bringing Filipinos abroad together through culture‑driven community engagement, while creating opportunities for connection beyond digital platforms.
Another Bronze Stevie® Award was given to Albert V. Villa‑Real, President and CEO of PLDT Global, for Thought Leadership. The citation highlights his work in advancing partnerships and platforms that support digital inclusion initiatives for overseas Filipinos and partner communities across markets, reflecting a leadership approach focused on long‑term collaboration and ecosystem building.
“These recognitions reflect our shared commitment to using technology to create real impact — from empowering global Filipinos through TinBo, to advancing digital inclusion, education, and cybersecurity across communities.”
