PLDT Global, through its digital marketplace TinBo, reaffirmed its commitment to serve overseas Filipinos beyond digital services as it joined the Filipino community in Hong Kong in supporting Bring It 4 Bethune, a special benefit show dedicated to the migrant workers under the care of Bethune House Migrant Women’s Refuge.

The event, organized by Bella Pineda, a Filipino student from the Hong Kong International School, brought together advocates and artists in an afternoon of solidarity, care, and music on May 31, 2026 at the DARA Filipino Restaurant. Funds raised from the show will help support Bethune House’s welfare services dedicated to migrant workers who experienced abuse and exploitation.

PLDT Senior Vice President and Head of Enterprise Business Group Blums Pineda, together with PLDT Global Senior Manager for Global POP Facilities Management Jonathan Tanguilig and Senior Specialist John Freidrich Bangud, graced the benefit show.

The benefit show featured performances by Filipino artists Crisel Consunji, Ariel Reonal, Felix Rivera, Franz Arcilla, Jen Bautista, Monica Linden, Chloe Tan, and renowned saxophonist Mike Inot.

Aside from performances, the benefit show also featured a pop-up by Revamp, a pre-loved fashion collective that donated half of its proceeds during the event to Bethune House.

Bethune House is a non-profit and volunteer-run organization that provides temporary shelter for female migrant workers in Hong Kong. Since 1986, it has served as a home away from home for many distressed Asian migrant workers and domestic helpers, providing them accommodation, food, emergency relief assistance, as well as legal, medical, counselling, and psychosocial support.

Bethune House, together with its partner organizations, has organized emergency assistance desks to help Filipino and Indonesian domestic workers displaced by the massive Tai Po fire in Hong Kong. To learn more about their work, visit their website: https://bethunehouse.org/.
